About Me
The Rational Activist Blog is a staunch defender of liberties and our Constitution; I, like many others, believe the US Government has overstepped its authority and think it is a time to return to a correct reading of the Constitution and its limitations on the federal government.
We like to write on subjects from religion to politics and anything in between. The Rational Activist Blog takes pride in being politically incorrect: You do not have the right to not be offended; We do not believe in pseudo-rights that many people assert on equal ground as the right to life, liberty, et. al. (i.e. right to equal pay, clean air, to a job, and the list goes on). The Rational Activist Blog believes if you take offense to what is written then the problem is not with what we write but instead with how you interpret our words.
The Rational Activist believes that the proper role of government can be limited to just 3 functions:
- National Defense: a military force to protect us from foreign forces
- Courts/Legal System: to create and uphold laws and legal contracts
- Domestic Enforcement: a police force to uphold the laws of the nation
Finally, we at the Rational Activist Blog intend to do exactly what our name implies – awaken and stir up the minds of the apathetic and instill a sense of liberty in all to reclaim our great republic.
